Dawgs Study RX Safe
Rely on the basics. Go to class. Take notes. Keep up with the reading and homework. Study regularly and well in advance of tests.
Do not rely on prescription stimulants alone. No pill will make up for missed classes and poor study habits. To do well in school:
- Know the syllabus
- Review the text and other readings before class so that the lecture makes more sense
- Go to class, turn off any distractions, listen, and take notes
- Review your notes daily to reinforce what you learned in class
- Start studying well in advance of the test
- Visit the instructor during office hours
- Use a UGA tutor for difficult subjects
- Employ active learning techniques, not passive techniques
- Join a study group
- Go to the UGA Office of Academic Enhancement if you are not doing as well as you would like
